Perfect White Rice Without a rice cooker

This post is controversial! Everyone has their own opinion. But this post is for those of US who make bad rice and need help. So QUIETLY move along if you already make perfect rice.
I don't usually talk on my page because I find it annoying. But I must say a few things.
This recipe is 100% customizable. Meaning if you want 1 cup of cooked rice or 100 cups of cooked rice you can easily make it if you have enough pans. 😉
This recipe is for 1 cup of cooked white rice.
I count out how many cups of rice I need by how many people will be eating or how many recipes I'm making. So for simplicity, let's use an example, lets say I'm serving dinner to 5 people. I will need 1 cup of cooked rice for each serving. I will count out 5 cups of water and 5 scoops of rice. I keep a 1/3 cup measuring cup in my rice canister. I call it a rice scoop.

Rice Yeilds 1 cup
1 cup water
1/3 cup dry rice
Put water and rice into a pan on medium high heat for 5 minutes you can set a timer. We're going for boiling here. When it boils reduce heat to medium and reset timer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat leaving pan sit on the coil.
Stir well. And put a cover on the pan. Let sit for 15 minutes. In 15 minutes lift the lid and test the rice. It should be perfect.
