Oat Sausages • 2 teaspoons dried parsley • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning • 2 teaspoons sage • 1½ teaspoons black pepper • 1 teaspoon thyme • 1 teaspoon fennel seed, crushed • 1 teaspoon paprika • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes • 2 teaspoons salt • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder • 1 Tablespoon onions powder • 4 cups oatmeal (13.5 oz) • 2 cups water • ¼ cup oil (optional ) 56g or about 2 oz Mix together and fry. They are a bit dry but they are good. They hold their own even crumbled in a sauce on Spaghetti or in a gravy but don't boil . These make 10 small 3 inch patties (I used a large ice cream scoop and then pressed them a little flat) I make 20 meatballs and fry them, then finish them for 10 minutes in a covered dry frying pan. These are our favorites now.
